Abstract

This study will explore the underlying sub-text that, I argue, may be the most important and emotionally arduous aspect ofthe play Blood written by Sergi Belbel, the relatively young Catalan playwright who in the mid-80's rapidly became one of the most valued and highly acclaimed authors in today's Spain.
