Muros, Inodoros y Revolucion en caída libre: La "socio-lización" perdida en "Dorado Mundo" de Francisco López Sacha
Abstract
A Filiberto "se le rompió la taza del inodoro ... al iniciar su lectura en el baño" [justo en aquel] "momento histórico en que ... ve desplomarse, atónito, el muro de Berlín, la lealtad de su esposa y la taza del baño, y sabrá que no está preparado para enfrentar el mundo que se le viene encima" (Fomet 23). Así comienza el cuento "Dorando Mundo" (1992) de Francisco López Sacha con el personaje principal Filiberto leyendo, atónito mientras defeca, los cintillos con las noticias provenientes de la lejana e inalcanzable Europa del Este en 1989. 1 "¡Ay Dios mío!" exclamó después de haber hecho un gesto brusco que rompió los arreos de la pieza sanitaria. De la base saltaron astillas vía al tragante del baño que nadaban ahora en un líquido espeso mojando los pantalones de Filiberto. La desgracia le ensombreció la cara, corrió al fondo del apartamento y cerró bruscamente la llave de paso. Filiberto no había dado importancia a "la flojera de los tomillos" que ya venía sintiendo "pero el azar que trabaja en silencio hizo que los tornillos volvieran a aflojarse, que húngaros abrieran sus fronteras, que los turistas alemanes escaparan hacia el lado oeste, que él comprara el periódico al volver del trabajo, y ante el asombro de tantas catástrofes, se sentara de golpe a leer y rompiera la taza" (Fomet 314).Downloads
