Abstract
Veamos... me parece que más allá de las diferencias (sí es acaso que ese espacio es real) es concreto que la lucha en Costa Rica contra la aprobación del Tratado de Libre Comercio entre Centroarnerica y Estados Unidos (TLC o CAFTA según estemos en inglés o español) transformó de una manera significativa la política y sociología costarricense. Por un lado, escindió - por un tiempo - a la sociedad en dos; por otro lado, resquebrajó de manera parcial la confianza de las masas en el conjunto de instituciones que componen la democracia (burguesa) costarricense.
