Bodas de sangre de Federico García Lorca y Puñal de claveles de Carmen de Burgos: Dos versiones de una misma historia
Abstract
Tanto Carmen de Burgos como Lorca comparten la misma ideología poíitica y social. A pesar de la discrepancia en cuanto al tratamiento del tema y de la brecha generacional, los dos autores fueron fieles creyentes del gobierno republicano. Ambos poseían un fuerte compromiso didáctico que se manifestaba a través de su activismo político y sus creaciones literarias. Lorca, como codirector de la compañía estatal de teatro "La Barraca" durante la Segunda República Española, organizó giras por los campos de España con el fin de recrear los clásicos literarios en un esfuerzo por educar al público. Asimismo Burgos, feminista confesa, se valió de sus colaboraciones en periódicos y revistas para publicar relatos y novelas cortas con el propósito de educan las mujeres sobre sus derechos civiles y políticos.
