Tecnología y cultura popular: Notas sobre el fenómeno regíocolombiano
Resumo
En el presente artículo, destacando la especificidad del contexto latinoamericano, sostenemos que el concepto de cultura popular puede seguir siendo orientador para referirse a fenómenos culturales particulares. Reconocemos, sin embargo, que deben tenerse seriamente en cuenta los cuestionamientos que se le dirigen y proponemos que la atención al papel que los artefactos tecnológicos juegan en las prácticas concretas de producción, difusión y consumo cultural puede brindar una alternativa para su reelaboración y para la orientación metodológica de su empleo. Posteriormente presentamos algunos de los rasgos y prácticas de un fenómeno cultural específico que consideramos muestran suficientemente la pertinencia de conservar el concepto y del abordaje propuesto. Se trata del fenómeno colombia o regiocolombiano en el área metropolitana de Monterrey, México; una serie de prácticas culturales, en las cuales resulta central el uso de tecnología sonora, y que constituyen un mundo de vida o una identidad colectiva de los que participan principalmente miembros de las clases marginales.Downloads
